Morgan Sommers is now in his seventh year as the Head Athletic Trainer for the Grizzlies.

A Towanda native, Sommers graduated from Butler in 1993, before going on to receive his Bachelor’s degree from Wichita State University. During the 1996-97 academic year, Sommers returned to Butler to serve as Assistant Athletic Trainer to then Head Athletic Trainer, Todd Carter. That valuable experience lead to a graduate position at Fort Hays State University.

Sommers then moved on to Cowley County Community College to take his first Head Athletic Training job. He remained there for five years before returning to the Grizzly family. Sommers and wife, Leslie, currently reside in Andover.
