Butler Soccer is proud to announce plans for a new soccer facility to be located on the east side of the Butler Soccer Field. The new building will provide an outstanding and much needed addition to the soccer complex. Butler Soccer has had a long standing tradition of excellence that has seen 100 players wear the purple and gold since the program began in 2002. The facility will provide an elevated media and press area that will allow for proper sight lines during filming, an on-site storage area for player and field equipment, sheltered team areas for the home and away teams during matches, as well as an aesthetic improvement to the soccer facility as a whole.
“I know that an addition such as this will dramatically improve the soccer experience for our student-athletes here at Butler. It is a sign to current and future players that we take great pride in our soccer program and the players who play here. It is a building for the players that make Butler Soccer what it has been, is, and will be. We will be able to improve our game films for recruiting purposes in addition to have a place for our team when we are at home. It will leave a lasting impression in a recruit’s mind when she takes her visit to Butler and sees firsthand how serious we are about our soccer program and our players. There will be no other soccer specific facility like this in the Jayhawk Conference and we will again set the standard for community college soccer.”
Butler Soccer Head Coach – Adam Hunter
In cooperation with Butler Community College administration, Butler Soccer has been able to secure approximately 80% of the financial need to make this soccer facility a reality. We have already secured the architectural plans from PKHLS, right here in El Dorado, and they have contacted/secured the builder. All that is left to do is raise the final 20% of the project. This is where we need your help…we are calling on all interested parties that want to see Butler Soccer continue to set the standard.
We are asking you to consider the following two options for making a tax-deductible contribution:
1. Flat Donation: a one-time contribution toward the new facility.
2. Naming Options: your opportunity to have a portion of the soccer complex named after you or someone dear to you.
